WHY THIS HILL MATTERS · ST. JOSEPH, BARBADOS

Over 90% of Barbados' primary forest was cut down for sugarcane.

We are growing it back one tree at a time.

since 2014

Coco Hill Forest is a 53-acre agrotourism project in the hills of the Scotland District hiking trails overlooking the rugged east coast, weaving through bamboo groves, royal palms and over 70 species of tropical fruit trees, herbs and spices.

TAKE ACTION

The forest is open. Come play your part.

Committed to a more food secure and climate-resilient Barbados, we grow food locally, rebuild lost biodiversity, and repair our relationships with the land and that starts with spending more time in the forest.
